Jeffrey Goodman

Jeffrey Goodman is an up-and-coming criminal defense attorney. Having spent most of his life in Miami, Florida and to this day, Mr. Goodman maintains his admiration for the Miami area as well as his strong community ties. Because he grew up in Miami, and still resides there, he understands how the community operates and its laws. He truly identifies with the people of the Miami Dade community.

He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business, with a specialization in Finance, from the University of Florida in 2006. He continued his education and graduated Cum Laude from the University Of Miami School Of Law where he earned his J.D. in 2009. That same year, in September 2009, Mr. Goodman passed the Florida Bar.

Mr. Goodman has worked in the legal field since 2007. He has been working as an Intern/Associate for Mr. Jeffrey Feiler, of The Feiler Law Firm, since 2008. During this time, he assisted the firm’s clients with death penalty appeals, felony trials and traffic proceedings. He also attended court proceedings on an almost daily basis. He enjoys all aspects of criminal law and because he has experienced all aspects of criminal defense law, Mr. Goodman is qualified to represent clients on a wide-variety of criminal law cases.

Prior to working for Mr. Jeffrey Feiler, Mr. Goodman worked at the Miami Dade Public Defender’s Office as a Certified Legal Intern in 2008 and as a Non-Certified Intern in 2007. During this time, he immersed himself in the criminal justice system by observing and participating in different aspects of all criminal law processes.

In addition to his knowledge regarding criminal defense law, he also has an interest in finance. Mr. Goodman has consulted clients to aid them in deciphering regulatory compliance issues. In particular, he counseled clients on securities and investment banking procedures.
